Leading Software development organisation based in Malaga(Southern Spain) have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Release Manager to join their Head office.
In this role you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and controlling the transition of releases through the various environments, i.e. Transition from inception through to production. The primary objective is to ensure the integrity of all environments through the accurate scheduling and documentation of release processes, implementation plans, dependency management etc, and to meet internal SLAs related to transition.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of software applications, containing multiple interacting systems and components into a variety of environments, including functional test, UAT, integration, staging and production environments. • Develop change management processes to protect all environments from potential software defects and outages brought about by software transition. • To minimize the risk of software transition through the accurate and detailed recording of change. • The creation and maintenance of Implementation Plans, Forward Schedule of Change, Change History, etc. documentation • Awareness of all product delivery dates, and the ability to schedule and determine dependencies across project channels.
Requirements:
• ITIL certified • Significant experience in software configuration and release practices • 3+ years proven history of success in project and release delivery • Self-critical and little need for direct management • Ability to balance multiple tasks and schedules • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Integrity, creativity, and passion to learn and flourish in a collaborative and open environment
