| A 63-year-old man was killed at around 10am yesterday morning when his car was struck by a passenger train travelling from Ciudad Real to Manzanares on a level crossing without barriers at El Campillo station in Daimiel (Ciudad Real).
The victim, who was driving along an untarmacked earth track parallel to the CM-4107 (km 5), was the only occupant of the vehicle, and there are no reports of any casualties among the train passengers. |
