| Police in Guadalajara are investigating the death of a two-year-old boy, who died last Saturday after being hit by a marble table-top in a city-centre tapas bar.
A local government official confirmed yesterday that the tragic accident occurred at around 10pm at the Cañas y Tapas bar as the toddler was playing with a group of other children.
He was rushed by his parents to Guadalajara's Clinical Hospital, where he died of massive abdominal injuries shortly after being admitted.
Hundreds of people turned out for his funeral last Sunday in his home town of Azuqueca de Henares. |
