| Pope Benedict XVI has described Maria Teresa Ferragud Roig from Algemesí (Valencia), who was martyred at age 83 during the Spanish Civil War along with her four daughters, who were all nuns, as a true model of a Christian family.
These proposals are contained in a letter that the Pontiff has written for the next edition of the World Family Forum that is set to take place next week in Mexico City.
Maria Teresa and her family were executed in 1936 and beatified by Pope John Paul II in 2001. |
