| Three members of the same family have died as the result of inhaling carbon monoxide from a faulty heater.
The family, a couple aged 69 and 77 respectively and the 94 year-old mother of one of them, were found dead in their home in León this morning.
According to a statement released to the press by León town hall, police broke into the property this morning after being alerted by neighbours who had not seen the couple for a few days.
Although autopsies will now be carried out, initial police investigations point to the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning as a result of a faulty oil heater. |
