|  MAD Cow Disease has been confirmed as the cause of death of a Santander man, say Cantabria regional health authority.
The victim died in the Marqués de Valdecilla hospital in the regional capital in January.
His is the fifth case of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) recorded in Spain since it was first detected in 2005.
The other cases were seen in Madrid and León.
