| Sir Elton John arrives in Barcelona today ready for his last performance in 'The Red Piano' tour which began a few months ago at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.
Tonight's closing concert will be held at the Palau Sant Jordi and features sets created by the eccentric photographer, David La Chapelle, one of Elton's close friends, with the red piano taking centre stage.
Elton John has taken this latest show all over the world over the past few months and a million people went to see it in Las Vegas alone. Born in 1947 in London, the singer, songwriter and pianist is one of the most successful artists of all time, having sold more that 250 million records during the course of his career, which already spans four decades, hitting the top of the charts with songs like 'Your song', 'Rocket man' and 'Crocodile Rock'. |
