The Sierra Tejeda nature reserve is very close by, excellent for walking, cycling and horse riding.
The coast is less than a 30 minute drive, offering all water sports. There is an 18 hole golf course at Caleta de Vélez, approx. 18kms from Cómpeta.
The eciting city of Málaga is well worth an excursion, the famous city of Granada is also within an easy drive.
