Montroy is a municipality in the Valencian Community, Spain. Belonging to the province of Valencia, in the Ribera Alta region. Located in the center of the Vall dels Alcalans between Monserrat and Real from which it is separated by the Magro river.

The Castell de Montroi or Torre de Montroi was created as a defense and is of Muslim origin. Ordered to be built by the Nasrid dynasty in the 13th century. It was built due to the vulnerability of the town from the sea. It was part of a defensive system along with the castles of Monserrat and Alcalá. Its height is 12 meters. Built with adobe earth and consists of two floors with windows overlooking the sea and a terrace.
The town has a great musical tradition. The celebration of the Fallas is displaced because the musicians travel to the Fallas of Valencia. Two music bands coexist. In 1832 the Musical Protective Union was formed but due to the Civil War its activity was interrupted. In 1945 the Musical Artistic Union was created and more recently, in 1972, the "La Armonía" Musical Society.

The Valencian Honey Fair is held in the town and the Valencian Honey Museum is located.
