Our Company:
We are an award-winning global financial advice company based near Marbella, Spain. We challenge our competitors with an innovative business model centred around providing first-class service and ensuring our clients get first class service at a reasonable cost. We work in a dynamic industry that is constantly changing, which we see as an opportunity to adapt and improve.
Justification for the availability of the position:
One of our staff members is going on maternity leave and we need a replacement minimum 1 year commitment. There will be a role in the same team after they return from leave, although the role may change slightly. We provide training and help you build up the required financial knowledge, and we would like you to grow along with us.
Key Priorities:
• Your main role will be administration processes for our existing clients, including client withdrawals, fund switches, change of clients details, managing online access etc.
• Check and expedite clients’ queries, dealing with all related paperwork
• Occasionally speak to clients directly (via email) to clarify details about queries
• Speak to providers over the telephone and track completion of requests submitted to them
• Data entry, using Microsoft Office programs and cloud-based IT systems to prepare internal and client-facing documents
Experience:
• Office administration and customer service experience (preferably related to finance, but not necessarily)
• Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel
The ideal candidate has…
• Impeccable organisation skills
• Native/fluent level of English
• A willingness to learn about complex pension matters and apply this knowledge on a daily basis
• Great oral, written and numeracy skills
• A proactive approach with ability to demonstrate initiative, not afraid to suggest improvements to existing processes
• The ability to manage a range of tasks and activities at any one time
• Is open minded to a constantly changing process
• Is a team player keen to support internal colleagues, demonstrating self-confidence and a commitment to internal communication and supporting others to meet shared goals
• Additional technical IT skills are preferred
We look forward to hearing from you!
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday. 9am-5pm are our standard working hours, but these can be flexible.
Holiday: 31 days including a 2-week compulsory holiday over the Christmas/New Year period. Due to the global nature of our business, we do not enforce taking Spanish Bank Holidays, but instead, you can take leave whenever you like.
Salary: EUR 19,200 per year for the first year (€1600 per month), then increasing to €21,600 (€1800 per month). All staff have a performance-based annual review.
