Primavera Sound festival sold out, except one-day passes
THIS spring's massive music festival Primavera Sound has already sold out of its two- to five-day passes, five months before it kicks off.
One of Spain's largest and most popular live pop and rock events, Primavera Sound is held in Barcelona and, this year, will take place between May 31 and June 4 inclusive.
Artists and bands confirmed so far include Aphex Twin, Van Morrison, Grace Jones, The XX, Kate Tempest, Arcade Fire, Metronomy, Bon Iver, Frank Ocean, Sampha, and Grandaddy.
At least 30 groups, musicians and singers will perform on each day of the festival, which brought in 55,000 revellers a day during its 2016 edition.
Last year, the opening day – which includes a series of free-of-charge concerts open even to non-ticket holders – brought in over 21,000.
Now, with all multi-day tickets sold, only day passes remain on sale, priced at €80.
