Danish mother arrested at Málaga airport for 'child abduction'
A DANISH mum of two has been arrested at Málaga-Costa del Sol airport for 'kidnapping' her children, aged five and six.
An international arrest warrant had been issued for the woman, 28, after she took her kids out of Denmark despite their being made wards of court 'for their protection', for reasons that have not been revealed publicly.
She was travelling on a TUI flight to Gambia for a family holiday and was detained during a refuelling stop in southern Spain.
National Police entered the aircraft to take her into custody, and the children are temporarily being cared for in a foster home in Málaga pending members of their family taking over.
