Euromillions Christmas joy in Valencia: over 43.7 million euros won by one lucky person

The owner of a Euromillions ticket sold in Valencia has won a jackpot of over 43.7 million euros, as the only person to correctly guess the five winning numbers and two stars in Tuesday night's draw - 2, 10, 16, 42, 50 (stars 4 & 11).

The winning ticket was sold in lottery outlet number 82,750 in Valencia, located number 5, Carrer Consulat del Mar, in the Ruzafa district of the city. The total prize money comes to 43,704,037 euros.

Spain was enjoying a lucky streak on Tuesday, with two more winning tickets in the third prize category - matching all five numbers - sold in Santa Susanna (Barcelona) and Madrid. Each of those lucky winners will pocket a tidy 48,681.70 euros.

The winner of Spain's Millionaire Maker this week, with the code 'JFK08663', bought their ticket at lottery outlet number 11,930 in Sant Pere de Riudebitlles (Barcelona).

There was no overall winner in the Euromillions draw on Christmas day, so the jackpot rolls over to next week, with an estimated 28,000,000.00€ up for grabs on Tuesday.
