'Titanic: The Exhibition' opens today in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, which is a collection of objects, images and documents relating to the story of the giant cruise liner that sank in 1912 after hitting an iceberg.
Also forming part of the exhibition is the IMAX film 'Secrets of the Titanic' that was directed by Oscar winner James Cameron and is being shown in the IMAX theatre inside the Hemisferic. The main exhibition is set up in the Umbracle, and will run until the end of March next year.

It was revealed yesterday that the itinerant exhibition 'Titanic: The Exhibition' will be staged in Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences next month.
The exhibition is the largest and most complete about the ill-fated cruise ship that sank after hitting an iceberg in 1912, with the loss of 1,296 people.
It has been one of the most eagerly accepted of the most recent phase of itinerant exhibitions.
Equally, it was also revealed that the last living survivor of the tragedy, who has just turned 95, has announced her intention to travel to Valencia for the exhibition.

Bilbao´s Ria maritime museum will be hosting an exhibition dedicated to the HMS Titanic until the 28th August. The spectacular exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to relive the days of luxury, splendour and tragedy aboard the most famous ship in history.
Equipped with an audio guide system, visitors can immerse themselves in the history of the Titanic by means of voice, music and sound effects, and discover the objects, documents and photographs that were preserved inside the ship.
There is also a comprehensive history from conception to construction, a description of life aboard the luxury liner, and visitors can experience for themselves its sumptuous suites and cabins, relive the fatal collision, the tragic sinking, and the rescue of the survivors.
Entrance costs €4 for adults, €2.50 for pensioners, unemployed, and disabled while children under six get in for free.
